Serendipity
I am reminded of it all the time. I frequently find myself in close proximity with those whom I would not have met except for the common bond of recovery and service. I cannot explain the feeling, but those that have had it know it. It reminds me of this quote which rings real true to me:
“True ambition is not what we thought it was. True ambition is the deep desire to live usefully and walk humbly under the grace of God.”
I have some wonderful friends and had the chance to have dinner with someone I respect for her actions in service. I learn from people every day, as long as I remain teachable. These are the simple things I ask for daily, and have been blessed to receive them.
