That line from Bowie jumped out at me as I was driving home. I have done that before. When I don’t have a spiritual connection, I don’t date, I take hostages.
Luckily I have gotten myself pretty centered, possibly the most centered I have been in a long time, if not ever. I get to do the things I love, and be of love and service to others. That makes life worth wild. I have a retirement savings, but life is short. Money isn’t everything. I get to enjoy life each and every day!
You know that relief one get when you clean your ears and they unclog/untickle. I love that. Sometimes you have to get the q-tip in there a little bit. (yeah yeah, I know your not supposed to jam it in there) Sometimes it’s the little things that bring joy. Kinda like when you have to pee real bad, and finally get to go. I am still amazed at the human body.

more. Maybe the hype was just too much, or maybe it is one of those to that should be seen with friends.
OK…I just started to tear up. Dick Clark was just honored at the Emmy’s. It is amazing how much he has accomplished and who he touched. After his stroke, his speech and motor skills are affected, but he is still a sharp man. The smile on his face as Barry Manilow sang the American Bandstand theme song is priceless. There are very few of Dick’s caliber when it comes to they way they helped shape television. Among that elite group I would put Merv Griffin, Johnny Carson, and Milton Berle. There are a few more, but those come to mind right off the bat.
