Here comes the sun…
I love watching the sun rise. It was another beautiful morning. Woke up with my girls (Katie and Vex) cuddled up next to me. Went and met some friends and got grounded. Now its about time for work. I am excited, this time next week I will be in Atlanta. It has been over a year since my last proper vacation. We did do a daytime roadtrip last week. The “Mean Face” picture was from at the top of the Palm Springs Tramway. We ate lunch and hiked a little, then drove by the Salton Sea, through Anza-Borrego, through Julian, Escondido, and Oceanside. It was a great day driving, observing , and being nerds. It is nice having someone in your life you like traveling with. After all, life is a journey, not a destination.
