Three-O-Nine?!?!?!
I went and got gas yesterday and it was $3.09 a gallon! What the fuck? Oh, I get it, elections are over so they can slowly raise the prices again. They think we don’t notice and should be grateful when gas drops below three bucks? It’s bullshit. I, for one, am going to do my best to curtail my gas usage and minimize my trips. I have been feeling a bit more environmental lately anyway. This will help in the fossil fuel department.
[damnhippie rant] A couple weeks ago I bought recycling bins at the container store and have been sorting out the glass, plastic, aluminum, and paper that is recyclable. It is amazing how much less garbage I put out to the curb. I know I won’t get a whole lot of money for the recycling, and that is not the point. I really feel the need to do my part. I have turned the other cheek long enough and been too wasteful with the dumb reasoning of “let someone else do it” or “I don’t need to do it, I won’t have that big of an impact” .
The real trick is to break the habit of just throwing everything into one container. I am amazed on how much can be recycled. [/damnhippie rant]
Off to hit some golf balls, then take Vex to the vet for some shots. Kitten season is upon us, I think she needs a friend
