New Years Resolutions
It is that time of year when everyone makes their new years resolutions.
“I am going to go to the gym”
“I am going to stop smoking”
I will try to eat less sugar”
etc…
And it seems for the most part by February they have forgotten it or justified why they are not doing it.
For my new years resolution, I am going with the same one I have had for the last 15 years. And I HAVE KEPT IT!!!
My resolution for 2008 is to not go on a 37 state killing spree.
Now a 36 state one is ok, but 37, that is stepping over the line.
In all seriousness, I don’t get the once a year resolution thing. I believe that every day that I wake up, I need to make a resolution to be a better person. Be that person I always wanted to be and help others to do the same. I should try to treat others with honesty, compassion, and respect. If I fall short, then I learn where I can do better and try to improve on in the future.
I hope everyone has a wonderful 2008!

This is pretty much the reason why I don’t make new years resolutions. Why would I just want to keep something up for one year? If I’m going to change something it’s going to be permanent or until it doesn’t make sense to do it or not do it anymore.
Here’s to a whole new year!
