Georgia Update Daily 1
Flying the red-eye to the east coast is the way to go. The flight out was just under 4 hours, which was nice. The baggage arrived real quick also, since it was so early at the airport. (530 am) Although one arrives tired (especially if the air-waitress keeps bumping one every time she walks by.) After a short nap from 7-am to noon, Katie and I were ready to go.
We went to lunch at a great spanish place called La Fonda Latina in the Little Five Points / Neal Gaimen’s Anansi Boys There is a computer here but only plan to use it to update the blog occasionally. (like now while Katie is napping)
Oh yeah, it’s Spring here. Real Spring! the trees are blooming, birds chirping, wasps flying, all of that shit one from Southern California mostly sees in movies. I will update some pictures later.
Tomorrow is our east coast wedding reception. There is a little stress here hoping it doesn’t rain, but if it does we will make the best of it. My big hope is that another tornado doesn’t strike Atlanta. It wreaked havoc on a lot of different areas. Both the old areas and the skyscrapers. pics to follow. (I know I am saying that a lot, but I don’t have a place to upload them at the moment.)
Played Rock Band for the first time yesterday, Finally! We are definitely getting it once we get our “economic stimulus package” refund. That along with a PS3.
Got to run, meeting my parents (who flew out for the party and to meet Katie’s family) at Vickery’s , the bar/ restaurant that Katie used to work at. This should be interesting. Not that I think it won’t be fun, but it might be overwhelming for one or more of us for various reasons.
Until the next update, keep it classy Interweb
