We had that happen to us in our last place. It was even to the point where they would start playing guitar at 4 in the morning in the bedroom above ours. We tried to be cool and just ask them directly. Didn't work. We tried the apt manager. Didn't work. We tried the police. Didn't work. So we finally had to move to keep our sanity. I'm glad yours worked out better. Hopefully they realize that real life means you should be respectful of others. I feel your pain. We had that happen to us in our last place.
