A fine line between Comedy and Blasphemy

We leave for Las Vegas tomorrow and the wedding is Tuesday. It is very exciting. So much to do.
It was the worst time for a kidney stone, but we are surviving. They gave me Vicodin for pain when needed. I don’t like having to take it, but sometimes I don’t haver any choice. The pain is unbearable at times. I will be glad when it passes. I have seen too many people get hooked on them, so i stay accountable with others when I have to take them.

Off to work, then time to pack.

On a hockey note, the Kings started the season off right with a win over the reigning champion Ducks. I hope they can keep up the momentum.

I know I should be rooting for the ducks, but I think that it would be good for Hockey if the Senators win “The Cup” for Canada. Don’t get me wrong, I like the Ducks (love the Kings), but love Hockey. I am glad the game is finally on network T. (c’mon NBC…show the whole thing..I haven’t even heard of the Versus channel.)

I finally found a way to play Colossal Cave Adventure (Also know as Adventure for the IBM) , Zork , all of the other Interactive Fiction games on my Mac. Man it takes me back. It combined a few of my favorite things that I loved to do as a kid: read, role play, and fantasize.
