Today was my first ride on Katies horse Dallas. It was a lot of fun! I stayed in te round pen this time. I have to hand it to Katie for her patience in instructing me. She rocks! Dallas is such a good horse also. Nice mellow disposition. I am excited to come out to the barn next week and ride some more. As soon as I relearn my equestrian basics we will go on trail rides. Maybe a picnic in the mountains.

Katie had to go in for an epidural to help relieve her migraines. She came through it ok but it took it’s toll on the both of us with stress. Right now she is mainly sore in her neck where the needle went in. In my want to help her get through this the least painful way, I have been a little controlling the last couple days, which isn’t playing well. Sometimes it is hard to let go,, especially when it is with something I have no control over.
You should have seen how super cute she was though while coming off the anasthesia/ pain meds. It was priceless.
I love her so much and don’t know what I would do without her. Even though it is a routine procedure, I am super relieved she came out ok.
Time to go burn some of this energy off on the bike. Off to work.
BTW-did I mention how cute my wife is?

My wife is cute all the time. (she reminded me as we hung out yesterday).
I really need to remember to write more often about it here.
Besides ute, she is beautiful, funny, smart, and a nerd.
