A fine line between Comedy and Blasphemy

I was just checking the weather and I noticed that here in Irvine, Ca there is the “wind chill” to give the ” feels like” temperature, and in Austin it is referred to a “heat index.”

Now that I am acclimated to Austin, 65• seems a little chilly.

I never thought I would reach this age. At the rate I was going, I really shouldn’t have. I try not to make a big deal out of birthdays, but today in a way it feels like it. Maybe it is because Katie thinks it is a big deal, and so should I. Maybe it is because how much I am enjoying life and want to keep living and giving. In twelve days I have another anniversary which I attribute to saving my life. More on that then.

Today I:

• spent the morning with Katie (Swoon)
• rode 10 miles round trip, including a hill I never thought I could conquer to the movies and back (Wanted is a good movie. I recommend seeing it in the theater)
• did over a hundred pushups (week 4 day 3 column 3)
• am on the way to spend the evening with my Parents, Brother and Sister
• have received many birthday wishes from all areas of my life

What can I say when the day is filled with love and life besides:

It is a perfect birthday!
