Like I don’t already have enough on my plate, I have taken on another online project. I now contribute to OC Daily Photo on Tuesdays. OC Daily Photo is the brainchild of Suzanne Broughton. I am flattered that she asked me to contribute. I am in the company of some great photographers, and can’t wait to see more of their works.
Other photographers on the site are:
Tracy Clark-Shutter Sisters / Mother May I
Susan Malmrose-StrangePulse / Flat Liberace
Marcy Masura-The Glamorous Life Association
Jeff Sipper-Sipper Photography
Chris Hoff-Dharma Bum

A friend of mine, Kevin, took this photo of his friend Ben. I am amazed at the clarity of the the detail when one zooms in on the photo. I thought everyone should have a chance to see it also.
If you want to see it in it’s full glory, it can be viewed here or right click to download the file. (warning, it is a 180 MB file, somae sure you have a fast connection)
Here is some of the info on the photo.
Camera- H3D II
Digital back- Hasselblad 31 MP
Lens- HC 120 makro
Lights- Profoto Acute 2400 pack with one acute D4 head
Modified with Mola beauty dish
Shooting and editing data
SS- 1/125
F16
iso 200
Camera was handheld and auto focused
File was barely sharpened, most sharpening and lens adjustments like
vignette and distortion corrections are done automatically when
importing the file into the Phocus. The software uses data from the
lens and camera to determine the correct amounts. its real nice. All they
did was a quick density correction to the curve and then a little WB
and its was ready to go.
