A fine line between Comedy and Blasphemy

We are kind of a warped group where I work. It helps keep the riff-raff out. I work with some great people. We did have one person leave this week, and it has left us in kind of a lurch. I know we shall perceiver, but things may be a bit stressful for the next couple weeks until we get a replacement.

I am amazed on how I still love my job. Just when I have had a few days of customers that try the patience, I also got some great compliments from other customers as well as my manager. He also empowered us to take more initiative and implement things that we feel could improve the overall operation. I love things like that.

Here is a shot of the Orange County Performing Arts Center, the new Segerstrom building, and another building. I just love the perspective.

By the way, if you like cheese, you must go to Mi Casa in Costa Mesa. They are not shy about using it. I was so full after that meal I almost fell asleep during Wicked. haha

This morning I got more of a tweaker cleaning bug. It started while I was vacuuming the living room and I moved the Lovesac to clean under it. I noticed now the living room has nice open space, but the patio was a bit cluttered and dirty.So then I proceeded to throw old plants away, clean and rearrange a little, then hose the whole thing down. Of course I couldn’t stop there. I did the same downstairs, repotted some plants, and generally tidied up. It is amazing what half an hour will do. I think I am going to the beach this afternoon, after seeing Clerks II. Review to come.

I also have a couple rings I am making.

The orbs on each side will have some texture to them.

This one, which is smaller and designed for a woman, has an Purple CZ on one side and a light blue one on the other.

This gives an idea of the depth of it.

Both of them need to have the gaps filled with slip, then need to be sanded and smoothed before firing.

A great lightning storm tonight. Wish I was off a little earlier so I may have gotten some better pictures. Here is one I got when I stopped on my way home from work.

I have a gut feeling we may get an earthquake soon. Just a hunch.

We had a good spread at the cemetery the other night.

I really need to write more here. I have gotten out of the habit, and the best way to become a better writer is to continue writing. Just like reading aloud helps the brain stay tuned (So Brain Age says on my DS) writing helps to get things out more eloquently, and makes it easier to flow the woords from the brain to the page.

So my vow to my 16 loyal fans, to write more geeky stuff I like.
