Bill Anxiety Averted

I just finished paying the bills for the month, what a relief. Not that we are struggling, it is just that the paychecks came at odd weeks so I had to pay a couple days late. I don’t think anything gives me more anxiety than not being able to pay bills, or pay them on time. It wasn’t always like that. I used to not stress so much, and not care if I was late. But then again I used to be able to sedate myself into oblivion, or try the “If I just go to sleep, everything will be ok” method. Now I get the “I can’t sleep until I do all I can” method.
Thank God I have Katie to balance me out for whenever I get too stressed out. She keeps the “we do what we can when we can” attitude when it comes to finance.
That said, I am always relieved when I get those things for which I owe up to date and stay current.

Dyson D25 Pet Vacuum follow up

Just a quick follow up. Today I had to sedate the cats slightly and thin their fur. ( they hate it, but they need it) I used the “Furminator” and it works great. The result is fur everywhere as seen by the attached photo. He Dyson cut right though it, 2 passes at most on a spot to pick up all the fur.

Still stoked after three months, and loving the rinsable filters. Well worth the investment.

Bike Zen again

Friday I wrote how I was in a funk. I made some claims of what I planned to do and guess what, I did it. And more. And what a difference. I have ridden the bike 5 days straight and that has been amazing. On Sunday I told myself I needed to try riding to work and even picked up some new lights so I wouldn’t have an excuse if it was dark in the morning or at night. (reviews of the lights to come) I made te ride and it wasn’t bad. A couple tough hills, but my legs are coming back. And it only takes me about 20 minutes each way.
I also reconnected with my meetings and too some action that I have been putting off since we moved here.
Sometimes it takes a bottom to redirect to the sky.
Faith without works is dead.
